Mar Vista Micro-Celebration

$1,000, not including taxes or optional enhancements

This package includes everything you need for an intimate elopement, vow renewal, or a wedding day simply shared with those who matter most.

  • Two nights in a one-bedroom cottage (best available on your dates)
  • Maximum of one additional cottage can be added,  sold separately
  • Choice of celebration via our private beach path or on our Lookout Deck, or Redwood Forest
  • Officiant or speaker for ceremony
  • Gathering tables set up on lawn for post-ceremony gathering, with drink bucket filled with cold water and iced mint tea
  • Use of mini greenhouse for table of up to 6 persons dining max
  • Custom florals from our gardens on reception tables

Mar Vista Mini-Celebration

$5,000, not including taxes or optional enhancements

Up to 18 people maximum
BASED ON AVAILABILITY

Celebrate with family and friends as you begin your forever journey together—or renew your vows and declare your love all over again. With the sea and forest as your backdrop, the day will be unforgettable.

  • Two nights in a one-bedroom cottage (best available on your dates)
  • Requires rental of 2 additional cottages with a maximum of 4*, reserved for at least two nights, sold separately
  • All guests must be staying on property
  • Choice of ceremony space in the Glass House, Upper Deck, Redwood Forest, or Beach. (Beach access is through our path, which is a mildly strenuous hike. Casual shoes are suggested; there is no ADA access.)
  • Three hours reserved for reception, including Glass House and Reception Lawn Cottage, with linens, china, glassware and silver
  • Officiant or speaker for ceremony of choice available
  • Custom florals from our gardens on event reception tables**
  • Drink bucket filled with cold water and iced mint tea
  • Caterer arrangements are required for more than 12 people

Mar Vista Celebration

$15,000, not including taxes or optional enhancements*

FOR GROUPS LARGER THAN 20 PEOPLE
BASED ON AVAILABILITY

Our full-property buyout package will make your celebration feel like an exclusive private getaway—because it is. You and your guests staying on property will have full run of our nine acres, including our secluded beach, gardens, fire pit, and more.

  • All available cottages reserved for two nights
  • Up to 45 guests for sit down dinner
  • Gathering ceremony at the Upper Deck or in the Glass House
  • Reception venue for 4 hours, including Glass House, fire pit area and Reception Lawn
  • Candlelight sconces & candeliers in the Glass House
  • Table & chair setup formally or casually
  • Cottage linens, plates, glassware and silver
  • Market lights and luminaries for celebration night
  • Officiant or speaker for ceremony of choice available
  • Drink bucket filled with cold water and iced mint tea
  • Basic setup for caterers
  • Custom florals from our gardens on event reception tables**

Optional Enhancements

Prices vary unless noted. Must be requested in advance of event. Catered dinner and bar service from one of our local vendors.

Additional Services

  • Must be requested in advance of event. 
  • Mar Vista Farm + Cottages proprietors as teachers:
    • Add $150 for 1-hour gardening/composting/sustainability class
    • Add $25 per student for yoga and/or meditation classes

Dining Options

  • Add $20 per person for breakfast buffet with gluten-free quiche, pastries, bacon-stuffed croissants, coffee, juice
  • Add $18 per person for boxed lunches
  • Add approximately $29 per person for Thai dinner boxes or buffet

We can recommend top professionals for other services as well: photography, hair and makeup, live musicians, spa and massage services, or other special extras. Just let us know what you’re looking for and we will help you find it!

Please note: Declining any package inclusions will not result in a reduction of rental and/or package fees. Proof of insurance is required for any facilitators, professionals, vendors, or teachers.
